Aari Work
Aari work is a traditional hand embroidery technique done with a special hooked needle, where the fabric is stretched on a wooden frame and embroidered with fine chain stitches to create delicate motifs. The designs often feature floral patterns, vines, and intricate borders, enhanced with zari threads, colorful silk threads, sequins, pearls, beads, and kundan or glass stones for added richness. Sometimes mirror work and crystals are also used to bring extra sparkle. This detailed craftsmanship is especially popular in bridal blouses, sarees, and lehengas, giving them a luxurious, royal, and timeless appeal.
